接机登记
万事开头难,为了方便新生在刚刚抵达Phoenix时解决食宿问题,我们设立了这个新生接机登记系统。欢迎新生登记自己的接机信息,老生志愿者将帮你们迈出在Tempe成功的第一步!
在正式填写接机信息前,请仔细阅读下面的提示:
- 如果可能的话,请尝试联系ASU同专业的学长或你先前的校友,他们可能提供更好的帮助。
- 请确保你填写的信息是正确的,如果需要更正,请发信至asucssapickup [AT] asu.edu。
- 接机的志愿者可能是CSSA的成员,也可能是其他的社区志愿者。我们诚挚地欢迎本地社区和教会的志愿者帮助新生。
- 如果有志愿者联系你,请和他/她确认你的航班信息和到达日期。请记下志愿者的手机号码,如果你落地时找不到志愿者、你的航班因故延误、取消或改签,请即时联系接机志愿者或 CSSA重新安排接机。在任何紧急情况下,请拨打免费电话911寻求帮助。
- 如果已经确定有志愿者接机,请填写更改状态表,以便其愿者帮助其他需要接机的新生。
- 请确保在机场接机的志愿者正是您所联系的,以防被骗,您可以事先了解志愿者的姓名、特征和车牌号等信息。
- 我们不鼓励和不禁止小费。一般来说,$5或$10即可表示你的心意。小费并不是必须的,一声真诚的感谢更令人感动。我们建议希望新生负担汽油和停车费用的志愿者在接机前与新生商定妥当。
- 如果您没有临时住处,也可以通过这个系统申请帮助。接机的志愿者未必能提供临时住所,但其他志愿者可能可以提供住宿的便利。
- 如果您在登机时还没有临时住所(比如亲戚家、旅店或其他同学家),志愿者可能取消接机安排。此时请尽快联系 CSSA。
- 该信息仅用于新生接机登记,请勿用作其他用途。
- 如果您通过本系统提交您的个人信息,我们默认您接受以下条款。如果您不同意其中任何一条,您的登记信息将被视为无效。但CSSA的免责条款依然有效:我们将尽力保护您的隐私。但是任何拥有ASURite ID的人都可以访问这个系统。CSSA不对非其故意泄露的个人信息负责,此类免责的情形包括但不限于:技术故障、其他人(不论是否是CSSA会员)有意或无意的泄露等。在以下任一条件下,接机登记平台的任务视为已经达成:志愿者已经联系新生并且双方约定同意由志愿者在指定的日期为新生提供接机服务;志愿者已经联系新生并且双方约定同意由志愿者为新生提供临时或永久的住所。一旦接机平台的任务达成,CSSA将不对新生与志愿者之间的任何民事或刑事纠纷负责,此类纠纷包括但不限于经济纠纷、人身伤害或个人财产盗损。CSSA将免除一切法律责任。
- 如果您查看了任何接机登记信息,表明您已知悉上述条款并且您将不会泄露其中的信息。此信息仅供接机方便,请勿以任何其他目的联系新生(如广告、政治或宗教宣传等)。

Brochure
The Freshmen Brochure is a collection of useful information of the campus life in ASU, as well as the Phoenix metro area. The brochure shall be updated annually, please check out the latest version here: Link.
Pick Up Registration
It is the first step that is troublesome. To help our new coming students find accommodation, we established this Pick Up Registration system. Please feel free to ask for a favor here and our volunteers would be very happy to offer a hand to help you survive in Tempe ^_^
Before submitting your information, we would like you know the following facts and tips:
- When possible, you may also want to contact your prospective colleagues in ASU or your alumni of previous institute.
- Please make sure all information you filled is correct. For any correction, please send an email to asucssapickup [AT] asu.edu
- The volunteer may or may not be a current ASU student or faculty, we also welcome other volunteers from our local community and church to help new coming students.
- When being contacted by a volunteer, please confirm your flight info with him/her. Please make sure you have the volunteers cell phone number, in case you couldn’t find him/her or the aircraft is delayed, cancelled or rescheduled due to any resaon, you shall call him/her or other CSSA members immediately to arrange another pick up. If you were involved in any incident or emergency, please call 911 for help, which shall be free on any phone.
- Please update your pick up status when a volunteer has agreed to pick you up at the airport, so that other volunteers may focus on other new coming students.
- Please make sure that the one picks you up is the volunteer you contacted. You may ask the volunteer for his/her name, vehicle plate number, cell phone number and etc.
- We neither encourage nor discourage the tipping for volunteers. A $5 or $10 gratuity would be appropriate, however, it is not mandatory. A grateful message would be good enough. We suggest volunteers who expect a gratuity please let the freshmen know before their arrival.
- You may also ask for a temporary accommodation via the system, the volunteer may or may not be able to offer the help. However, a different volunteer may have extra sleeping rooms.
- The volunteer reserves the right to cancel the pick up offer if the freshmen cannot provided a designation (e.g., a relative’s home, a temporary home or a hotel) in Phoenix metro area. In such a case, please contact CSSA as soon as possible.
- This information shall be used only for the airport pickup, any other use is prohibited. However, anybody with an ASURite ID may have access to this information.
- By submitting your information to this system, you shall accept the following terms. If you disagree with any term below, your submission shall be considered valid. However, CSSA will exempt all of the legal responsibility.We try the best to keep your information confidential and safe. However, this system is accessible to any who has an ASURite ID. The Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) has no legal responsibility on any abuse of this information if it is not officially disclosed by CSSA. Such accidental disclose includes but not limited to: technical failure, any individual (either a CSSA member or not) shares this information with others intendedly or not and etc. The mission of this Pick Up System shall be considered completed for a particular freshmen if either of the following condition is satisfied: The freshman is contacted by a volunteer and both of you agree that the volunteer will pick you up at the airport on the designated date; The freshman is contacted by a volunteer and both of you agree that the volunteer will offer you a temporary/permanent room to stay. As soon as the mission of this Pick Up System is completed, CSSA has no responsibility on the future issues between the freshman and the volunteer. Such issue includes but not limited to: financial dispute, bodily injury and loss or damage of personal belongings. CSSA will exempt all of the legal responsibility.
- By viewing the existing pick up information, no matter as a freshman or a volunteer, you agree that this information is for airport pick up only, you will not disclose this information to anyone else and shall not contact freshmen for any other propose (e.g. commercial advertisement, political or religious information).
- We strongly encourage you, the freshman, become a volunteer in the future to help others!
